2020/10/20 - 10/31 Group show at SomoS Berlin
Untouchable explores the conflicted state between memory, contagion, desire, intimacy and vulnerability. Using sculpture, video, print, installation, and text, a group of 8 international artists explores the sense of deja-vu that connects our time with earlier fragile periods. We may realize the familiarity of complex phenomena that, historically, have always accompanied pandemic times: disinformation, denial, protest, and conspiracy thinking.
Un_Touchable is a part of a recurring exhibition series that is dedicated to exploring the mediatization of sexuality and intimacy, coinciding with the Berlin PornFilmFestival that explores the relations between art, arousal, sex-positivity and alternative sexual identities.
With Sico Carlier, Youcef Hadjazi, Anna Jermolaewa, Ivan Lozano,Pedro Matias, Michael Sven Meier, Andrew McPhail, Melissa Steckbauer
